The Bahrain Raid Xtreme team, entered by our client Prodrive, are running 4th and 5th in the Dakar Rally after Stage 9! Well done to drivers Sebastian Loeb (10 x WRC Champion) and Nani Roma (2 x Dakar Rally Winner) for splendid results so far and wishing them luck to go on to win or finish on the podium.
We supplied 5 large Axion 77 Square (7m x 7m) inflatable tents to prestigious motorsports company Prodrive for use by the Bahrain Raid Xtreme team in both last year’s and this year’s Dakar Rally. The tents are used to service the specially built rally cars and are quick to erect and dismantle so as to be moved from one service point to another in the shortest possible time.
The Axion Square inflatable tents also have to withstand the extreme temperature range in the Saudi desert and so they are fitted with a pressure control system to keep them fully inflated during the swings in temperature between night and day. The tents also have to keep out sand during sandstorms and are fitted with special sidewalls which have net covered windows with fully closing window blinds . The Axion inflatable tents are pre-wired for both low and high level lighting and have a light reflective ground sheet to assist night working.
The Axion 77 Square inflatable tent provides a covered area of 49m2 which is increased by the addition of the entrance visor. The tent can be erected or dismantled in minutes and can be easily transported in the boot of a family car. The Axion Square is available in sizes from 4m x 4m to 7m x 7m in size. If more space is required we manufacture the Axion Spider which provides up to 75m2 floor area.
Naturally the entire surface of the tent can be printed with your branding. We use a high quality dye sublimation printing process so there are practically no limits on the design and colours available.
