We like to think out of the box. We take it as a fact that pneumatic tents work well, fulfilling their purpose, but we constantly ask ourselves what could we make better? Therefore, besides technical improvements to AXION products, we are also working on the materials they are made from too.
A never ending issue is the base color of the tent canopy and side walls. Using dye sublimation printing, a dark printed canopy is in contrast to its white back. Some customers do not wish to have their tent white on the inside, requiring us to use the ancient method of screen printing on original colored fabric. As screen printing is not scratch resistant, we have invested in the development of new fabric with a black back. Now after black sublimation printing, both sides of the fabric can be black.
Most events take place in summer. The side walls of tents provide a big surface for promotional advertising, but staff standing inside of a tent can find it very hot, and so often remove the side walls. A way to be able to survive comfortably inside the tent and still keep the promotion in place is by using perforated walls. Light knitted perforated polyester, normally used for sport dresses or barrier banners, offers an easy solution. Besides this advantage there is another, thanks to the perforations and their natural ability to let air pass through, big tents can survive strong winds without the necessity to detach the side walls.
